    I live in West Virginia, USA and we are known for Pepperoni Rolls, which is basically a bun with either sticks or slices of pepperoni and some have mozzarella or Pepper Jack as well. There’s stiff competition over who has the best Pepperoni Rolls and people will argue over stick vs slices and cheese no cheese (personally, I’m in the slices/no cheese camp). I believe the origin was for coal miners to carry and eat in the mines so if you are looking for a lunch type all in one bun, I highly recommend trying the Pepperoni Roll.
